What are Dermal Fillers?

We use injectable facial fillers to treat the lines and wrinkles around your nose and mouth (nasolabial folds). Our medical director, Aleksandra Predota, APRN FNP-C injects the filler gel into your skin lines and wrinkles with a fine needle in small amounts. Fillers create a natural, long-lasting enhancement that is safe for your skin.
Filler gels are produced in the laboratory, not made from animals. Fillers are composed of a natural substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). Your body already contains hyaluronic acid in your skin, eyes, and joints. Aleksandra Predota, APRN FNP-C uses “cross-linked” advanced hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers that prolong the filler’s beneficial effect.
How long do Dermal Fillers last?
The benefits of Versa™, Juvéderm®, and Restylane® typically last between six months up to one year. As fillers lose their effect and break down, the body entirely absorbs the filler, and water takes its place.
