FAQ's
Can you remove tattoos from toes and fingers?

Because tattoo removal depends on the body to flush away the shattered ink particles, areas of the body with less circulation often take more time to show results. The toes, fingers, ears, and nose are areas that may show slower results.

How often do I come in for Q-switch laser tattoo removal sessions?

Your skin will need to process the treatment so each session will need to be spaced six to eight weeks apart.

What are the most difficult tattoo colors to remove?

While black, blue, dark blue, dark green, brown, red, purpose, and orange are easier to remove, tan, yellow, bright green, and sky blue are difficult to remove.

Is there anything I can’t do after my laser tattoo removal session?

Similar to the care used when getting the tattoo, the treated area will need to be protected from the sun and a recovery balm applied for 5 to 6 days.  During this time you’ll also need to keep the treated area covered.  Plan to stay out of the pool, hot tub, bath, lake, and similar types of water until the area is healed completely. Don’t apply anything that could irritate the treatment area, such as makeup and avoid shaving until the skin is healed.

Is the Q-switch laser treatment safe? What are the side effects?

The Q-switch laser tattoo removal process is safe and effective. Side effects are generally associated with the skin’s healing process.  The treated area may swell and blister, the tattoo may raise, and there can be pinpoint bleeding, redness, temporary darkening, hypopigmentation, hyperpigmentation, and bruising. Although these are common post-treatment conditions, they usually subside within weeks.
