FAQ's
Is Long Pulsed YAG laser treatment for spider veins safe?

Yes, this treatment is safe for skin types I to III.

How does the Long Pulsed YAG laser work?

This laser diminishes the appearance of existing veins on the face and legs. As the laser light is applied to the skin, it enters the vein, where the energy from the laser is absorbed and the vein walls collapse and seal shuteliminating the vein’s appearance on the skin.

What can I expect during and after the vein reduction treatment?

The discomfort is minimal and is typically described as the “snap of a rubber band.” Depending on the treatment area, some swelling and irritation may occur. Following your appointment, you should avoid sunlight and use sunscreen or antibiotic ointments to promote healing and prevent damage.
